JFR 2026 ADVANCED SEMINAR

The 2026 Advanced Seminar was an exceptional program! The presenting scholars were outstanding. The focus of the seminar was “Challenges in Teaching the Holocaust.” We welcomed two new scholars to the JFR, Dr. Andy Pearce from University College London and Dr. Noah Shenker from Colgate University. We are planning the 2027 Advanced Seminar. If you would like to see a specific focus for the Advanced Seminar or a presenter at the 2027 Advanced Seminar, please let Stanlee know at sstahl@jfr.org.

HOLOCAUST MUSEUM HOUSTON SPECTOR/WARREN FELLOWSHIP

JFR’s Executive Vice President, Stanlee Stahl, presented on the JFR’s new online program, How Was it Possible? A Holocaust Curriculum For and By Teachers™ at the Holocaust Museum Houston’s Spector/Warren Fellowship in early January. The Fellowship is an intensive six-day educational program for pre-service teachers and students from Syracuse University to learn Holocaust history and pedagogy.
