2027 SUMMER INSTITUTE FOR TEACHERS
The 2026 Summer Institute for Teachers (SIT) will be held June 26 - 30, 2027 and will be held at the Hilton Newark Airport. Announcement of the 2027 SIT program will be emailed to centers shortly. It is suggested that centers begin identifying their nominees for the 2027 program.

EXPLORING JFR DOCUMENTARIES AND RESCUER STORIES
As you begin to plan your Holocaust unit, if you have not already done so, please explore the JFR’s rescuer section on our website. The rescuer section contains more than 200 individual stories of rescue. In the documentary section you will find award-winning documentaries of rescue stories. The documentaries are short, between 11 and 19 minutes, and are perfect for a classroom period. If you would like additional information on either the rescue stories or the documentaries, please reach out to Stanlee at sstahl@jfr.org. We continue to add rescue stories to our website.
JFR POSTER SET ON RESCUE
A number of Lerner Fellows have requested copies of the JFR Poster Set on Rescue. Unfortunately, the JFR’s Poster Set on Rescue has been out-of-print for years. We are considering issuing an updated Poster Set on Rescue and we are looking for Lerner Fellows to help update the Poster Set. We will meet via Zoom. If you are interested, please let Stanlee know by emailing her at sstahl@jfr.org.
