MEDAL OF HONOR FOR MASTER SGT. RODDIE EDMONDS
On Monday, March 2, 2026, President Trump will present the Medal of Honor to Master Sgt. Roddie Edmonds’ son Pastor Chris Edmonds. The Medal of Honor Ceremony will be held at the White House and will be followed by a White House reception. In addition to Master Sgt. Roddie Edmonds, three other service members will receive the Medal of Honor on March 2nd.
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, there will be a ceremony at the Pentagon in the Hall of Heroes where Master Sgt Edmonds will be formally inducted in the Defense Department’s permanent record of valor. Present at the ceremony will be the Secretary of Defense and the Secretaries of the Army, Air Force, and Navy. 2026 EUROPEAN STUDY PROGRAM TO POLAND
The JFR’s 2026 European Study Program will take Alfred Lerner Fellows to Poland. Professor Robert Jan van Pelt is the scholar-in-residence for the Study Program.
JFR 2026 SUMMER INSTITUTE FOR TEACHERS
The 2026 Summer Institute for Teachers (SIT) will be held June 20 – 24, 2026, and will be held at the Hilton Newark Airport. We have an outstanding group of scholars presenting at the Summer Institute.
RECOGNIZING A JEWISH RESCUER – GILEL STORCH
The JFR is known for supporting and honoring Righteous Gentiles, Christians and Muslims, who risked their lives to save Jews during Holocaust.
