2026 SUMMER INSTITUTE FOR TEACHERS
On June 20 we will welcome 26 middle and high school teachers and Holocaust center staff to the JFR’s 26th Summer Institute for Teachers (SIT). The program will be held at the Hilton Newark Airport and runs through Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Thirteen leading Holocaust scholars will present at the program. The text for the SIT is How Was it Possible? A Holocaust Reader by Professor Peter Hayes.

The JFR new online program is available on JFR’s website this summer. We have been working with a number of Lerner Fellows these past several years and we thank them for their participation. 2026 EUROPEAN STUDY PROGRAM
The JFR’s 2026 European Study Program to Poland is set. We have 14 educators who will be studying with the JFR in Poland. Professor Robert Jan van Pelt will lead the Study Program as our scholar-in-residence. Professor van Pelt has planned the itinerary, which is exceptional.
