The Jewish Foundation for the Righteous provides financial support to more than 900 non-Jews who rescued Jews during the Holocaust and preserves their legacy through a national education program.

 

JFR Units of Study

The JFR offers two units of study for teachers to cover in one or two class periods. These units include background information, essential questions, student outcomes, suggested teaching approaches, timelines, and documents.

    • This unit focuses on the rescue activities of the Polish underground group, Zegota.
    •  This unit focuses on the efforts of the Danes to save their Jewish neighbors.
